UAS is currently recruiting a new treasurer to our Board of Directors. This is an officer position that holds voting and proposing power as per the UAS bylaws. Preference will be given to those with experience in accounting and finance.

Now that UAS is settled in the new Satellite Gallery space, has an Administrator, and charitable status and casino registration likely to be completed in the next few months, we are in need of a knowledgeable professional to ensure the finances of the organization are maintained and accountable.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following requirements:
- a good understanding of and experience in accounting or finance, understands bookkeeping and payroll.
- an interest in the Calgary art community, or non-profit organizations
- has knowledge of, or interest in artist-run centres and their role in the arts community
- has general knowledge of voting-board structure and function

- able to attend a minimum of 8 board meetings per year and chair the finance committee
